I am a pretty laid back person, quiet at first, until you get to know me. I have Native American background...Susquehanna Indian. Yes, I am originally from Upstate NY, and miss it terrible!! Been living in the South a little too long, lol

I am very passionate about bellydance, and my work as an artist. I am the artist/owner of Silks by Sahariah, and hand dye my own silk bellydance veils for bellydancers, and sell them in my etsy store at sahariah.etsy.com. and on ebay. Photos of my work can be seen on facebook at saha tribalbabe Please send a friend request:) I dye half circle veils, aka my Killer Silk Moths, rectangle veils, Killer tornado veil poi sets, FANtasy veils (silk fan veils), and have hand dyed silk cami tops, neck scarves, pirate sashes, sash belts, and scarves/turbans.

I LOVE Bellydancing, working out, yoga, and sewing. I LOVE creating costume pieces for bellydance, as well as sewing things to other things, creating unique costumery. My other passion is Heavy Metal music, and have been a Metalhead ever since the age of 13. ]V[etal is in my DNA..it is who I am, and I have also expressed myself in Metal thru my artwork, as well. I also LOVE choreographing dances to music that speak to me and move me. It is because of these creative outlets, that make me the unique person that I am.

I enjoy performing fantasy fusion bellydance, in which I add mystery to my dance with an exotic flare. I am open to other styles, and their fusions as well, as this art form has and keeps on evolving. I Love working with props, such as veils, veil poi, sword, the cane, tray balancing, candle dancing, wings, and my FANtasy Veils. I am currently working on a show in February, along with running my business, which keeps me very busy!!
